US Apple ID for Bangladesh Users: How to Switch Your Store Region

iTunes gift cards are region-specific. A US card adds balance only to an Apple ID whose store is set to the United States.

Before you change region

Apple asks you to sort out a few things first: cancel active subscriptions, use up any remaining store credit, and wait for pending refunds or rentals to finish. Check Apple's current rules in Settings, as they can change.

How to change your country or region (iPhone)

1. Open Settings and tap your name.
2. Tap Media & Purchases, then View Account.
3. Tap Country/Region, then Change Country or Region.
4. Choose United States and accept the terms.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts for payment and billing details.

Another option

Many people keep their main account unchanged and create a separate Apple ID just for the US store. This avoids touching existing subscriptions and purchases.
